Have you ever been to Melaka before, travelers? Well, it was actually my first time visiting Melaka. I went to Kuala Lumpur for the Christmas trip till December 30th before New Year. I see that the tourist attractions in Melaka is very interesting, so I asked my family to visit Melaka for a day.
You can catch the bus from TBS (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) and buy the tickets to Melaka from Kuala Lumpur. The bus prices vary depends on its brand. I bought the Delima’s ticket costs RM10. This bus terminal is clean and well maintained.

Note: I recommend you to buy the tickets in the previous week and don’t buy it on the day you leave because it might be full and you have to wait for the next bus. You can buy the tickets on http://www.tbsbts.com.my/.
I arrived at TBS at 9.30 and planned to take the 10 o’clock bus, but the bus was full already and I had to take the bus at 11 o’clock. It took around 2 till 2,5 hours to reach Melaka. The bus was very convenient, so I fell in a good sleep.
After arrived at Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal at 1.30 pm, I immediately bought the tickets back to KL for that night before it running out of tickets. And it really happened! The bus for 7 pm and 8 pm were already sold out, but I found another bus which still had available seats with a more expensive price. I paid for RM13.50 but that’s okay, the important thing was I still can back to KL on that night.

You can go to the tourist attractions from Melaka Sentral by Grab or Taxi and it took around 20 minutes. The tourist attractions in Melaka are very close together, so you can walk along the road or rent this cute vehicle.

Note: if it’s your first time here, I think you better stay a night to surround all the tourist attractions. My Grab driver also said that I was lucky to visit Melaka on weekend because the Jonker Street Night Market only open on weekend (Friday-Sunday) till midnight from 6 pm.
I was spending my time in Melaka by walked from Maritime Museum, Melaka River Cruise, the famous Christ Church Melaka, Stadthuys, and ended the journey in Jonker Walk. There were plenty of foods and souvenirs here and it was very crowded at night. I’ll definitely come back next time to hunt more photos in Melaka’s historical places and to hunt more foods.
