Adam Levine on stage!

Hello travelers! It’s been a while since my last post! I’m so sorry for being busy with my new activity, working as a copywriter + marketing planner ain’t easy. I come home late (almost) everyday and don’t have any time to write. Despite to all of my bustle, recently I got myself a short trip to Singapore! Actually I already planned this since September, when I bought the Red Pill Blues Tour ticket. YES! I got to see Maroon 5 LIVE with my naked eyes! I’m grateful for this opportunity. Unfortunately they didn’t come to Indonesia, so I have to fly to the nearest country.

Ready for flight!

Well, since I’ve been to Singapore plenty of times and I didn’t go somewhere new, I’m gonna share my concert trip on March 7th, 2019.

Andddd…..here I am!

Catching up with the not-so-early morning flight to Singapore, fly with Batik Air for the first time! No delayed and I got full entertainment during the flight. I spent 1 hour 30 minutes flight by watching movie. I travelled with my mom and my boyfie who is also a huge fans of Maroon 5!

I arrived in Changi Airport Singapore at 3.45 PM (Singapore time) and directly go to the hotel where I stayed by MRT. I suggest you to buy (or borrow) an Ez-Link Card! It will make it easy for you to go everywhere without having to wait in line. The price is also cheaper than the single card!

On my way to Changi Airport MRT Station

I stayed at Harbour Ville Hotel, where is 3 min away from Bendemeer MRT Station and 7 min away from Lavender MRT Station. The location is good and surrounded by lots of food!

I didn’t spend much time at the hotel after checked in, because I rushed to the concert venue. I decided to ride a grabcar that costs 7 SGD to National Stadium from my hotel. It was quite worth it. It took around 30 min to go there because of the traffic jams. In other ways, you can take a MRT and get off at the Kallang MRT Station or at Stadium MRT Station. However, you have to walk for 600 m if you get off at Kallang Station. I recommend you to get off at Stadium Station.

During the concert, it prohibited to bring a professional camera, selfie stick, and food/beverages. I suggest you to bring a small bag, so you won’t bother while there. But don’t worry! You can buy snacks or beverages inside the stadium. The price is definitely quite expensive, but it can save you from the dry throat of screaming the sexy guy alive (Adam Levine) LOL!

The show was started at 8.30 PM and opened with ‘What Lovers Do’ song, followed by ‘Payphone’. Everyone’s screaming when Maroon 5 played their greatest hits! (Yes, including me, especially when Adam Levine took off his shirt and showed his cool tattoo!

The show lasts for approximately 90 minutes and they played total 19 songs, made us sing along during the concert and even cried! It was great. I’ve been waiting for 6 months for that day and it was definitely paid off. I paid 182 SGD for a seating ticket and (ever) regret because I should’ve bought the standing ticket! The seating tickets are sold out, yet I saw there were empty spaces for standing ticket.

I considered that everyone who’s standing will lift their arms up and record everything that make me will see their only hands, like what I experienced at The Script Concert in Jakarta. Nevermind, I still enjoyed the show and grateful for having that opportunity. Seeing Adam Levine LIVE is one of my dream.

For those of you who want to see your idol with the naked eyes, SAVE your money from now on. DON’T expect them to come to Indonesia, just take the opportunity while it last. I ever hope that one of my favorite band (One Republic) will come to Indonesia, but it didn’t happen. They only visit Singapore and Malaysia where is the nearest. I determined to watch their concert in Singapore last year (2018). I’ve been watching concert twice in Singapore and have no regret at all because the show was lit!

I wish that everyone who read this article gonna make your dreams come true to see your idol someday!
