Day 7
It’s time to go outside Seoul! Hehehe. I went to Nami Island and Petite France on that day. It took around 1,5 hours from Seoul. You can go to Nami Island by subway and transferred to Cheongnyangni Station and take ITX to Gapyeong Station. The ITX costs 4.300 won and it took around 40 minutes to Gapyeong.

After get off at Gapyeong Station, go outside, take the shuttle bus and pay 6.000 won for all day (make sure to save the ticket and show it to shuttle bus driver to move to another place). The shuttle buses take you to many tourist attractions such as Gapyeong Rail Bike, Nami Island, Petite France, Garden of Morning Calm, Cheongpyeong Terminal Bus, and Cheongpyeong Station. It already snowed here. You can see beautiful white view along the road.

The Nami Island price is 10.000 won and there is special discount for tourist. You can pay with 8.000 won, so make sure to bring the passport. There are 2 alternatives to get to Nami Island, by ferry or by zipwire. The price you pay for Nami Island tickets (8.000 won) is including ferry, but you have to pay around 33.000 won for zipwire. You should try the zipwire if you’re brave enough hehehe.

This is what I ate for lunch near the Nami Island's Ferry entrance, Chicken Dakgalbi. It's a spicy grilled chicken mixed with vegetables and tteok-bokki. It was sooooo delicious! It costs 25.800 won for 2 packages.

After spending 3 hours in Nami and had lunch, I took the shuttle bus to Petite France and it took around 30 minutes to get there. The ticket costs 8.000 won, but if you have the T-money card for tourist, you will get discount 2.000 won.

Garden of Morning Calm is also one of favorite spot for tourists, but I didn’t go there and decided to go back to Seoul from Cheongpyeong Station. It’s more effective because it’s near from Petite France instead of go back to Gapyeong Station.
Note: Make sure to check the last shuttle bus schedule for not getting lost in Gapyeong. Here is the shuttle bus schedule.
